Oil Production Resumes at Al Fil Field and Libya's Production Reaches 240000 BPD.

Tripoli, 14 MAY 2104(LANA) Production at Al Fil oil fields halted
since March, has been resumed on Wednesday, the spokesman for the
National Oil Corporation Mohamed Al Harari announced.
Al Harari confirmed to Reuters that production at Al Fil which
produces 85000 BPD has been resumed.
The situation at Al Sharara was still not clear, he said.
Libya's oil production now stands at 240000 BPD.
NOC announced on Monday that it expected the oil fields of Al
Fil, Al Sharara and Al Wafa and the pipelines connecting them to Al
Zawiya terminal would be reopened after an agreement was brokered
with protesters closing the fields.
