Macron: Failure by Libya to Achieve National Reconciliation is Failure for Whole Region Particularly Libya's Neighbours.

Paris, 26 July 2017(Lana) French President Emmanuel Macron has expressed satisfaction for the results of the meeting which brought together the President of the Presidency Council of the Government of National Accord Fayez Al Serraj and Khalifa Haftar in Paris on Tuesday. What has been reached at the meeting will bring about peace and reconciliation and support the war on terror in Libya, Macron said at a press conference following the Al Serraj-Haftar meeting in La Celle Saint-Cloud outside Paris. Macron indicated that the EU would support the national reconciliation move, stressing that there was a need to curb trafficking and weapons smuggling to terrorists.
