parties, UN and Algerian to hold reconciliation conference ago Libyan
parties. The sources underscored that the conference to be hosted by
Algeria expected to be held mid-October if efforts are successful.
Head of UN Mission, Martin Kobler visited Algeria last week and held
important meetings with ambassadors of the countries concerned with
the Libyan fileبيsuch as the USA, France, Britain, Italy, Egypt,
Qatar, UAE.
His meetings with Algerian officials could be connected to the
preparations to the conference.
The information are reinforced by the statement Saturday following
the meeting of vice- President of the GNA, Ahmed Amaitiq with the
Algerian Prime Minister, AbdulmalekSalal about launching of a new
political approach to speed up national reconciliation and settle the
current crisis in Libya.
The statement considered the recent meetings on national dialogue and
national reconciliation and the expected international meeting on
Libya at the side line of the Security Council of the UM General
Assembly on the eve of Security Council meeting end of this month
make tangible progress in this direction.
