UN discusses with countries and international organizations ways to support future Libyan government.

Tripoli, 27.08.2015(Lana) UNSMIL convened Wednesday a meeting
with representatives of over 15 countries, regional and
international organizations to discuss ways to support the Libyan
consensus government in case it requested international help.
UNSMIL statement said the objective of the meeting was to be an
international forum through which the international community discuss
principles of international assistance to Libya and approving them as
a way forward and coordination mechanism in case " national consensus
government' asked for international help.
The participants in the meeting agreed on the need to work
collectively through consultation with Libyan technical experts to
identify urgent support priorities to improve living conditions of
the population afflicted by armed conflict, it added.
They also agreed to activate sect oral work groups in a
coordinated manner as soon as possible to provide an opportunity for
focused discussions on possible international assistance in areas
of priority.
The UN envoy to Libya Bernardino Leon considered at the meeting
that stability of Libyan financial institutions, especially Central
Bank of Libya and support of production of Libyan oil and resuming
the link of Libyan airports with international air traffic represent
are some of the priorities of Libyan assistance.
The deputy head of the UN Special envoy, Ali SAl-Za'tri on his
part urged member states to deliver humanitarian assistance to those
needed it in Libya based on the new humanitarian response scheme in
Libya which is pending preparation and it is to be completed soon.
Representatives for the EU, Arab League, and several
international organizations and representatives for UN entities and
agencies concerned with Libya, and World bank, according to the
UNSMIL statement attended the meeting.
