Paolo Gentiloni calls on Libyan parties to reach an understanding and form a government of national unity.

Rome, 26.08.2015(lana) Italian Foreign Minister, Paolo Gentiloni called Wednesday on all Libyan parties to reach an understanding that would help in finding a peaceful solution to the Libyan crisis. In press statement Gentiloni said the UN Special Envoy to Libya, Bernardino Leon would present a proposal on the formation of a government of national unity in the coming days. Gentiloni expressed hope that the GNC would take part in dialogue due to resume in Sukhirat in Morocco Thursday. He underlined that efforts to reach solution to the Libyan crisis and forming a government of national unity would go ahead. Gentiloni reiterated in a phone call with Leon Tuesday his country's support to the concerted efforts made for the sake of the Libyan crisis and forming a government of national unity, expressing hope that they would lead to positive outcome as soon as possible. =Lana=
