London, 05.05.2015(Lana) Reuters said oil prices jumped by over
one dollar a barrel Tuesday, promoting Brent and light American to
reach highest levels since the beginning of the year after protestors
stopped flow of oil to Libya's Zawitina oil terminal.
The agency quoted National Oil Corporation spokesman, Mohamed
Al-Harrari as saying that protestors closed the Zwaitina port
pipeline. He added that such act would lead to closure of several oil
ports in the east of the country.
Brent blend is up by 1.20 dollar to 67.65 dollars the highest
since December 8 before retreating slightly to 67.50 dollars by 1215
GMT.
American crude oil increased by 1.39 dollars to 60.32 dollars a
barrel also scoring its highest since December.
