EU Urges Libyan Parties to Quick Agreement on National Unity Government.

Tripoli, 22 March 2015(Lana) The European Union has called on the Libyan parties to the political dialogue to quickly agree on a national unity government, saying political solution provides a road map for democratic transition in the country.\n In a statement published on Sunday, the EU said the crisis in Libya constituted serious challenges to international peace and security which requires full attention of the Union\'s various bodies.\n The statement stressed the need for an immediate and unconditional ceasefire, and said EU members were committed to step up efforts, with the concerned international partnersm, to fight terrorism in the region.\n The EU renewed its commitment to support UN mission the Special Envoy Bernardino Leon, and said the Union was prepared to support a Libyan national unity government as soon it was formed.\n
