US, France, UK, Germany, Italy and Spain raise Resumption of Libyan Dialogue in Morocco.

Washington, 22 March 2015(Lana) The US, France, UK, Germany, Italy and Spain have lauded the resumption of Libyan political dialogue in Morocco.\n A joint statement, released by the US State Department spokesman on Saturday, said the six countries have welcomed the resumption of the talks in Al Sukheirat in Morocco.\n They expressed their full support for the UN Special Envoy Bernardino Leon in his effort to get the parties to set up a national unity government as soon as possible, it said.\n The statement said a meeting of Libyan provinces representatives is expected to be hosted by the EU in Brussels on March 23, 24, as a confidence-building measure agreed at the last Geneva meeting.\n \'The signatory countries have expressed concern about the threats posed by terrorist groups active in Libya, including ISIS which has gained more ground in Libya in the absence of a strong central government.\'\n The international community is prepared to offer full support to a Libyan national unity government that can face up to the challenges facing the country, the statement added.\n Libyan parties resumed political talks in Al Sukheirat in Rabat in a bid to end the several months long crisis in the country. \n =Lana=
