HSC Opposed to Establishment of Camps for 'Infiltrators'.

Pulbished on:
Tripoli, 29 November 2017(Lana) The High State Council has stressed that illegal migration is a process of infiltration into a sovereign state in violation of its laws, which gives it the right to confront it, and to prevent Libya turning into a transit point to cross to Europe without internationally-acknowledged legal processing, in violation of Libyan legislations. In a statement, the Council blamed European states for failure to provide necessary assistance to Libya to control its borders. However it welcomed efforts of the international community to save these migrants saying they were inadequate and would not stop the tremendous flow. Blaming Libya by some countries and international organisations for mistreatment of migrants, citing an unvented TV programs, reflect a hidden agenda against the Libyan territories, the statement said. It called on the European Union, the United Nations and human rights organisations concerned with the issue of migration to provide camps for the migrants outside the Libyan borders, so that the Libyan authorities can process their transit visa applications in line with enforce Libyan laws. The Council said it rejected establishment of any camps for the infiltrators inside the Libyan territories, and the circulating blame of Libya for their mistreatment as a result of their illegal presence in the country. The Council noted that the Libyan state expresses indignation and resentment of reports of mistreating of migrants and preserved the right to take legal action against those claiming existence of slave trade in Libya. It urged the international community international organisations and indeed the Security Council, the African Union, European Union and the League of Arab States to verify media reports about such issues and to consider the Libyan attitude to them. =Lana=
