President of Presidency Council Receives French Foreign Minister.

Tripoli, 4 September 2017(Lana) the President of the Presidency Council of the Government of National Accord Fayez Al Serraj received here on Monday the French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian. According to the Council Information Office, the French Minister renewed France's support for the GNA, and security and stability in Libya in accordance with the steps taken at the Paris meeting. Le Drian said he would meet various political leaders to underline the importance Paris pins to the Paris agreement, indicating that the Political Agreement remained the foundation for political solution. On his part, Al Serraj highlighted the strong relationship linking Libya and France and said he was committed to the Paris agreement provisions. Al Serraj said he decided to resort to the will of the people to decide what course to take through elections. The French Minister said the French embassy will soon return to work from Tripoli. =Lana=
