Al Serraj and Haftar Vow to Work out a Roadmap for Peace and Reunification of the Army.

Paris, 26 July 2017(Lana) The President of the Presidency Council of the Government of National Accord Fayez Al Serraj and Khalifa Haftar pledged to integrate the fighters wishing to join the Army and to help others engage in civilian institutions as stipulated by Article 33 of the Political Agreement. In a joint statement issued following a meeting in Paris hosted by French President Emmanuel,Al Serraj and Haftar agreed to integrate all military and security forces as part of the reunification of those institutions within a security plan designed to protects the country's borders and combat trafficking and criminal gangs, and illegal migration. Al Serraj and Haftar met at La Celle Saint Cloud near Paris on Tuesday, in an encounter hosted by President Macron and attended by the UN Special Envoy to Libya Ghassan Salama and the GNA Foreign Minister Mohamed Siala and the French Foreign Minister Jean Yves Le Drian. =Lana=
