WB warns large percentage of Libyans on the verge of poverty.

Washington, 30.10.3016(Lana)The World Bank warned that large
percentage of Libya's population on the verge of poverty, due to
decline of oil prices, hampered oil production, political stalemate
and comprehensive conflict sweeping the country.
The World Bank referred to the UN report mid 2016 that about 435,000
people are homeless, 1,3 lack food security and over a third (that of
the six million population need some sort of humanitarian aid.
It said high unemployment rate has role in current instability and
prospects of restoring peace. Ultimately, short term aid must open
the way for efforts to step up effectiveness of civil service and
public sector and the private sector and diversify its activities to
enable it create new jobs.
