Tripoli, 27.10.2016(Lana) NATO has decided to support EU-led SOFIA Operation off Libyan coast to fight illegal immigration. Aki News agency reported that NATO took the decision after a two day meeting of the Council of Ministers of Defense of NATO, in Brussels, Belgium. The meeting focused, in particular, NATO-EU cooperation. The Italian news agency underlined that NATO support to SOFIA operation in the Mediterranean would include supplying it with the necessary resources and running sea and air patrols to help anti-illegal immigration operations. =Lana=
