Jufra Municipal Council denies presence of foreign forces in Jufra air base.

Hun, 26.10.2016(Lana) Jufra Municipal Council denied reports
circulating on social and news websites claiming the presence of
foreign forces in Jufra air base. Jufra Municipal Council spokesman,
Abdulnasser Ahmed Sanusi said; circulating reports are baseless, and
the people of Jufra would never allow any foreign forces in the base,
and those securing the base are forces subordinated to the General
Staff of the Libyan Army.
he said all local officials including the mayor and others toured
the base and i inspected work progress within the base.
The acting mayor of Jufra, Othman Hawna said Jufra would remain a
region of security and stability and reconciliation in Libya.
