Mufti of Libya calls on GNC to hand over power to other body it chooses if it failed to shoulder responsibility.

Tripoli, 21.07.2016(Lana) Mufti of Libya, Sheikh Sadiq Al Ghairiani called on the GNC to hand over power to other body it chooses if it failed to shoulder responsibility. In an interview with Tanasuh TV he said chaos witnessed by Libya now designed to derail the Constitutional Declaration providing for applying Islamic Sharia. He said developments undergone by the country is a criminal action against the country and plot machinated by foreign intelligence circles and carried out by the international community with the complicity of politicians and some others considered revolutionaries. The mufti considered those causing the calamity and plot against the homeland are those praising Sukhirat accord. He called on all those who supported the Sukhirat accord to return to righteousness. He condemned those using personal difference in the country's future. He called for rallying efforts of Libyans for the sake of the homeland. =Lana=
