Audit Office Demands Processing All Cheques Issued by Trade and Development Bank Temporarily.

Tripoli, 21 July 2106(Lana) The Head of the Audit Office Khalid
Shekshek has demanded that the Central Bank of Libya temporarily stop
processing all cheques issued by the Trade and Development Bank.
The Head of the Audit Office said a follow up of the liquidity
crisis and the parallel currency market, the upnormal rise in local
currency offer through the cheques of the Trade and Development Bank
has pointed to suspicion of corruption operations being carried out
by cheques issued against accounts at the bank.
