EU High Representative for External and Security Policies receives letter from President of the Presidency Council.

Brussels, 23.05.2016(Lana) EU High Representative for External
and Security Policies, who is also deputy president of the European
Commission, Federica Moghrini has announced that it received a
letter from Fayz al-Saraj, President of the Presidency Council of the
Government of National Accord.
In a statement Sunday, Moghrini said the letter is in connection
with the GNA request for swift support by the EU in the training of
naval forces and coast guard as well as security agencies.
She underlined that she would discuss the issue which she
described as 'significant development', with EU foreign ministries,
to make such request practical as soon as possible to support the
Libyans who face several challenges.
